SOME REAL ESTATE FINANCE AND INVESTMENT CENTER INITIATIVES


Challenge Pic THE NATIONAL REAL ESTATE CHALLENGE - Each fall, REFIC hosts the largest graduate real estate case competition in the country with schools such as Wharton, Stanford, Harvard, Berkeley, Michigan, Columbia, NYU, Kellogg, USC, UCLA, and Cornell. Teams compete in front of judges from Goldman Sachs, CBRE|Trammell Crow, and Bank of America, among many other prestigious companies.

Barton Creek ANNUAL REFIC CONFERENCES - The REFIC meets twice a year in Austin for spring and fall real estate conferences sponsored by the Center. The objective of each conference is to inform real estate professionals of important regional and national issues affecting real estate and financial markets. In addition, the Center will periodically host seminars and symposia on cutting-edge real estate finance and related financial topics, and REFIC members are invited to participate in these activities.
A young Kenny Aboussie THE MENTORING PROGRAM - The mentor program pairs real estate professionals with students to offer career guidance, networking opportunities, and help heighten overall real estate awareness.
